This print is likely to have been influenced by Rowlandson and may have been seen by Gillray. The humor is similar to Rowlandson's, though the execution is inferior. And the gentleman, left of center in the print, seems to be trying the same figure that appears in Gillray's Attitude! Attitude is Every Thing!
